Vineyard Wire
Resin and concentrate bin. The T-bin is particularly suited to pack and deliver from 1000 to 1200 pounds of masterbatch, concentrates and resins direct from the compounder to the moulding plant.

Transport and handling savings. Significant savings are achieved for short haul deliveries. The T-Bins are faster and safer to stack, faster to fill and empty because no inner bag is required, and require no set-up or knockdown.

Can be reused over 100 times. Saves the cost of buying 100 gaylord style corrugated containers, 100 lids, and 100 pallets.

User friendly. Molding managers value the smooth walls with a large radius to the base for easy emptying. Because T-Bins are manufactured with a high-pressure, injection molding process, the production managers appreciate the strength of the bin's rugged construction, its ability to be impervious to oil or water, and its smooth, clean appearance. Plant managers like T-Bins because they can be safely stacked up to four high when filled and if covered with MacroLids, the contents are unaffected by moisture.

Tried and tested: In a field test, color concentrates were hauled in T-Bins on one-way trips. During the test, 60 to 70 T-Bins were trucked every month. No breakage or spillage was encountered on any of the trips. Plus, because no inner-liners were needed, the company reported a labor savings since no supervision was required to prevent inner-liners from being sucked into vacuum equipment. The bottom line from the test: the company does not envision returning to cardboard gaylord style containers.

Environmental impact: It is often necessary, but very wasteful, to throw away cardboard containers after a single usage. It is also expensive and troublesome to dispose of 80 pounds of cardboard packaging even if it can be recycled. However, the solid, one-piece T-Bins can be used for many years and then returned to Macro Plactics for their recycled value.
